Subaru Performance Tuning – Here at awdtuning, Subaru tuning is what put us on the map. With the innovation of open source tuning and the ingenuity of the community it was our goal to make performance tuning affordable. With over 5 years of tuning we have tuned thousands of cars with a remarkable success rate. We always start our tuning on the dyno to optimize the car for peak power and safety, then take the car on the road to adjust and make any changes for the best possible drive ability. From the daily driven WRX or STi to 600+ hp beasts, to full race rally cars, we can make your performance possible at a price you can afford. We are able to tune any OBDII compliant Subaru from 2002-current via open source. We also offer stand alone engine management tuning, such as support for the Hydra, AEM, Link ECU, and many others.
Nissan Uprev Tuning – Uprev engine management is a license-based tuning suite which is comprehensive enough to tune configurations with simple bolt-ons to extreme ones with upgraded superchargers and twin or single turbo applications. Overall Uprev engine management is very affordable option for those looking to get the most out of their Nissan or Infiniti car or truck. We are currently the only Uprev dealer in the DFW area! The basic uprev license cost is $300, and standard tuning rates apply. Feel free to inquire for more details.
Mazda Tuning – We are now offering open source Mazda tuning, which is available for: 1st generation of MPS (MazdaSpeed) cars – 3,6 < 2008MY, 1st generation of CX7, 1st generation of Mazda 3 NA 1.6, 2.0, 1st generation of Mazda 6 NA 2.0, 2.3, 1st generation of RX8, and the MX-5. We also offer Standback engine management tuning, feel free to inquire about other types as well.
Dyno – At awdtuning we use a mustang 1100-SE AWD dynamometer for fine tuning to get the most out of your car. Dyno tuning starts at $175/hr, and is capped to $500 per fuel map. Our dyno is the only mustang AWD dynamometer in the DFW area capable of testing as high as 225mph and up to 2000hp. Additionally we take our tuning very seriously here; in order to provide a solid testing environment we have integrated a 35,000cfm fan to simulate 60-80mph movement. This helps simulate normal moving conditions as close to the street as possible in addition to keeping your car cool during a tune. All of our dyno tunes are also followed up with about an hour of complementary testing on the road to verify drive ability, fuel trims, and real world conditions.
Remote – A great option for people looking for a custom tune but are not local to awdtuning. All you will need is a Tactrix cable, and a lwideband installed on your vehicle for data logging. Currently we are remote tuning in all parts of the world. Additionally, remote tuning is only available with open source.
